To fit mine and cut pipes start to finish was about 3 hours by myself. Take your time with pipes  :happy2:

Thanks Dan. Any idea how to mount the horns without the relocation brackets? :(

It's only a little L shaped bracket so you might be able to fashion one up. Ill see if I've got a pic dude. What colour pipes you got?

Just looked and the passenger horn attaches to bracket already there and drivers side using a straight metal bracket. Got a pic of both. Ill post them in here for you when I get a min  :happy2:

Put a little bit of effort into cleaning up the 2nd hand twintercooler.

I never realised what a pain aluminium is to work with!!!

I ended up polishing back the end tanks and top as best I could by hand with brasso and autosol. For the core, I removed as much tarnish as possible, masked off the shiny bits and sprayed with high temp silver paint.

Could be better. Could be worse.

final results tomorrow when the paint dries then fitting time :pomppomp: :pomppomp:

:ashamed: don't worry Richardo, I have read one thread on a supra forum done extensive research into this.

It really is just a thin layer on the front core. I can't see it being a problem, especially with me using BHP paint! It should give me 100 boost powers for the wet bitches.

Not a problem, We painted the intercooler matt black before I fitted it on my Saab 9-3 Aero project last year.

IAT's where never and issue even after several WOT runs when we where live road mapping the car, Typically on a 10 Degree day the IAT's after the intercooler never went above 18 Degree's :)

It was a 600mm x 300mm x 75mm core I might add!

Cheers

The problem with the Twintercooler is the stone chips.
