Are they front mounted Andy? From what I understand, they replace the gti one that is situated behind the grotty radiator?

Correct... but that is still classed as a FMIC. The S3 one is fine, and IMO better than adding a forge twintercooler.

The below link is mine, Didint want to post the picture up and spoil the build thread
http://s32.beta.photobucket.com/user/Jaywoo85/media/Golf%20GTi/26.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1#/user/Jaywoo85/media/Golf%20GTi/26.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1&_suid=135910628635909938966297487202
Its a Autobahn88 kit with a uprated intercooler (the kit supplied one was fine but me replaced after a brick end hit it and damaged the cosmetics of it)

Well if you plan to fit it to your chest, your looking at a complex operation, probably 4 Surgeons and a questimate of 8 hours in theatre. Then you have to get used to all the anti rejection drugs but thats another thread.  :innocent:
If however you are fitting it to your car then about 2 hours + another 4 hours cutting the pipes to size.  :pomppomp:
