Halfords
VW
Ebay

Check exactly what colour grey you have. There are minor variations. It'll be on the white sticker in your boot beside the spare wheel and in your car service book. Mine is LA7T

Here's my new (to me) one in steel grey for the mix. It's interesting to see which colours are most popular from this forum, have to say that this grey gets my vote though!

I am currently restoring mine and I will likely stick up a build thread at some point. Trying to keep it stock as not many about. Yesterday got round to stage one of the external detailing before it goes off to a bodyshop to get it to "immaculate" level. Not bad for a car celebrating its 12 birthday:

Biggest PITA so far has been getting the wheels redone. Most of you seem to paint them and I totally understand why but I wanted the originality of diamond cut. Two attempts later and I have them to the right standard.

Evening guys,

Newish owner of a steel grey 3dr, loving some of the pictures on here

My car has the 18” momma alloys, in need of a refurb, I was originally planning on the classic diamond cut with gloss black inserts but hear that powder coating will be cheaper and last longer. I have seen pictures of smoked chrome and black powder coated alloys that I like but never on a steel grey GTi. Anyone on here have pics of a grey GTi with smoked/black powder coated monzas?

Thanks guys
