To be honest she is not going to be using it as a telephone so she really wouldnt need the 3g version, probably the wifi one.

I Dont think you can use it as a phone ? (unless its a skype type thing, im not even sure its got a microphone), the 3g is for internet etc, plus you get GPS with the 3g version, i love mine, always on it  :happy2:

i have two ipads, 1 wifi and 1 3G, dont hardly use it as it pretty much does exactly what my ipod touch 4g does which is also easier to walk around with due to size between the two

I have the 64gb Wifi only one and imho it is awesome.

I never go anywhere with out it. You can get unlocked mifi's on Ebay for around £50 and then you can use any sim to have a PAYG internet connection which is what i do :happy2:

I have a wifi only ipad and use my iphone as a wireless hotspot, works perfectly an no need for any extra 3g contracts for the ipad.

Do you have to jailbreak your phone and ipad  to do that?

My O2 data plan is only £10 a month so hardly breaks the bank, and then im only paying £20 a month for my o2 simplicity iphone 4 plan

Alot cheaper than most peoples monthly phone bills, and no risk of o2 shutting your 3g off for illegal tethering..

no chump here  :happy2:

My wife bought a 32GB Wifi only from Apple in New York during a recent stay ended up paying about £100 less than the UK. Worth the money. Possibly. Would she be with out it. Not a chance!

I'd never be without mine. It's awesome. And ed. What can it do that a net book can't? Ermmm sh*t loads. Like not having to wait for the thing to boot up and go straight on line. It looks very colon the UI is brilliant. It integrates to everything perfectly. It's apple build quality not samsung. Anything else?
