IIRC only a software update 'reflash' will wipe your map, coding cruise control will be fine

Im sure its about £150 from the dealers but prices do vary.
If youve got vcds or know anyone with it, its easy to fit yourself. Probably get a stalk for £50- £60

Just to reiterate... you will need a torx 8 bit... so make sure you have one before your start!

It was a T9 in my car but as Richwig said there's no point starting if you dont have it.
