Limited Slip Differential
« on: November 08, 2010, 01:07:52 am »
I want to get an LSD fitted to my GTI, i know Quaife do one and have heard that they're good, but also VW Racing offer one, does anyone have one of these fitted to their car? Are they any good?

Thanks

'Racinglines' diff is a Quaife.  Other brands are Peloquins and Wavetrac.

Personally ive always used Peloquins.  They are now doing a high torque option which makes it feel more like a plated diff.  Peloquins also comes with bolts and bearings.  Im fitting the new Peloquins on the vRS this week hopefully.

Quaife costomer support is rubbish too.  Peloquins are always there to help.

i chose wavetrac for their ability to work as a plate diff also and thereby work better under 0G condition, meaning when one wheel is off the ground and under braking. also wavetrac builds the lsd to the customers spec, meaning you have something to say in the way your lsd will act   :congrats:
my second choice would be Peloquin as you get a complete package that way

Over the top mod list ;o)
