Forum Stickers, anyone think we need 'em?

Like TC said it's a work in progress, I would welcome suggestions from anyone for a better font to use (other than Tahoma) for the Mk5GolfGTI.co.uk text on the logo. 

What about the font VW use for GTI etc? Anyone know what it is? Maybe just the red GTI bit in the logo?

the font is similar to Garamond but i cant quite find it, my friend and  do abit of design work on th side i could if you wanted try and come up with a short design and send it off to you Steve, i can also arrange for the stickers to be made locally? upto you

If you have some time Dan that would be great, I know a couple of local companies to me that can print them up but if you can give us an idea of the kind of prices you can get them produced for that would also be great.

I think Robin is right about the clarendon font that looks the closest I have seen so far.

In my opinion the best stickers are the laser-cut ones which stick to the inside of glass.

That's a shame as laser cut would be much better IMO. I for one am not keen on full stickers with backgrounds...........

TBH me neither Nath, If we can come up with a design that ties in with the forum/website logo that can be used as a laser cut sticker than would be great.

....I don't quite understand why it wouldn't work. Our logo here is the logotype "Mk5GolfGTI . co.uk" isn't it? And if you look at my Biali logo laser-cut sticker, it's the same principle.

They are tricky to put on but there's some tricks which I can post for example. Once on, they look superb.

Here's another one (the insides of the letters are clear/transparent) : -

Yes if we just just the logotype rather than the whole forum logo (the bit inc the honeycombe grill and the Mk5GolfGTI.co.uk text) then it would work.

Dan, any chance of something based around the Mk5GolfGTI.co.uk name that could be used as the basis for a laser cut sticker?
