Hi guys,

Anyone had a replacement by warranty in Aberdeen? Any tips?

Noticed earlier today a couple of the dreaded bubbles starting on my front driver side arch, same as other posters in the thread.

mines finally gone in today and got a 13 plate polo courtesy car thats done 350 miles! Had to pay £45 to go on thier insurance though

Asked VW in Chelmsford to look at my offside wing lay week during service (already had nearside replaced 100% cost by VW) and got a call today to say that customer care had signed off 100% cost of repair/replacement - happy days

After an hour journey of dropping my car off and taking the courtesy car home i get a cann 2 hours later, Sorry sir but only 1 of your 2 wings have come in you will need to come and pick your car back up and book it in again!! Clowns

I have had mine approved in Aberdeen 100% on both wings even though one has been painted also got 70% on sills and boot. So happy days but they better do a cracking job!

Dropped my car off at VW dealer yesterday to get new rear disc guard fitted then in to the body shop to get the rust fixed. Hopefully, they will make a good job of it. Car was already covered in swirl marks but it's getting detailed at the end of this month. Will let you know what the quality of repair is like. Fingers crossed!!

had some good news took my car to have wings inspected today at lookers vw Boston was waiting about 40 Mins nice gentleman come out took me my car checked paint depth and took some pictures I went away hour later got phone call wings being painted under warranty free off charge and also they painting my rear quarter trim free as well bonus well happy nice bloke as well

I have a question for you guys, I am booked in next Friday to see the guy re. the rust at VW, my issue is bubbling under the Rear VW badge on the tailgate. Now do you think they would turn me away as I have a 'Black VW' badge, sprayed. You and I know it has absoloutly no affect on the claim but they might come back and say it has been 'modified'

I don't have the 'Full VW service history' but again, has nothing to do with the condition of the paint

I could answer that question mate just had mine done an they offered me 50 percent towards tailgate but bill was still going to stand at 500 quid in would have to pay as they say boot needs replacing mate
