the only required mods for stage 2+ are the performance downpipe(with sports cat or decat) and the uprated HPFP.

reccomended would be the intake and intercooler.

garnishing would be the likes of the cat back exhaust (for noise), intercooler charge/ turbo discharge pipes.

i ran mine on intake/hpfp and downpipe and it was very very good. however i logged mine n numerous occasions and the std intercooler really struggles to cope.  IATs were through the roof after 1 big pull through the gears and took forever to recover

I'm currently on Stage 2. So only Downpipe and APR tune. I'm making 160.5KW's @ the front wheels which equates to around 196kw-ish at the engine.

So expect to be some where in about the 175kw front wheel range for Stage 2 + with intake and intercooler.
hope this helps

These are some  stage 2+ graphs for you to have a look at. Somewhere in this region is what you would expect. its not all aboout the peak figure.  Its how long it holds that peak figure for:

sweet nice one mate.  non of them are golfs though.  if that even makes a difference.

what i want really is 300bhp for £3000

im thinking that might be easyer and cheeper with a replacement k04 turbo around £800 i believe.  Then S3 injectors £500 stage one remap £500 few pipes..  should see me 300bhp right

or just buy a ED30...  kind of got my heart set on a candy white one but they go for around 16k.  hence trying to build one for 13k

the standard k03 TFSI ill not give you 300Hp unless you go on really generous rollers.

I know those arent golfs above, however they are all the identical ECU and 2.0TFSI k03 engine as the Mk5GTI.  everything is 100% interchangable
