Kind of, the MK5 Estate had a Jetta front end but was called a 'Golf' rather than a 'Jetta'  :happy2:

Having had a Mk2 Toledo, V5 Bora and a TDi Bora the Jetta was the next logical step. I did have a brief flurt with a Mk4 Golf GTi, loved the drive but it had to go.

Best thing about the Jetta is that IMO it looks like an R32 from the front! :) I always mistake them if one is behind me on the motorway.

Ya I agree with you I wouldn't be mad about the grill myself. thought the fogs looked well and gti splitter installed with the surrounding area colour coded gives it a bit of a meatier look.
