Jacko, you can't machine 10mm off the wheels - so I guess you're going rolled then!.. although are you hitting the wing lip or arch liner on compression?... as rolling won't make any difference if the latter. There's the other options of running camber or reducing tyre size too. Also, how low are you out of interest?
TC, again I'm not wanting to fan flames, but that reads as pretty much I said above - they've recommended based on trend and what the US market demands, does that suit what you want? I'm 99% sure they'll go under though, so don't stress!
