Winter tyres - no stock of Vreds?
« on: November 13, 2010, 07:39:27 pm »
I'm looking at getting some winter tyres to put on my 18" Monzas.  There seems to be a lack of stock of Vredestein Wintrac Xtremes 225/40/18 at the moment from the places I've tried.  My local tyre place said they've been told not to expect any more till January!!!  I'm not going to be doing many miles over Christmas but just want to be able to get around a bit better than last year!

Does anyone know anything about Lassa Snoways Era winter tyres?  Lassa tyres are supposedly manufactured by Bridgestone but other than that, I don't know anything about them.

Any experiences of Lassa tyres anyone?

If you have no luck,,, ring Vredestein UK.
Thats what I did to track down supplies.
Shipments arrive from Holland quite frequently since winter tyre production resumed in September.

Cheers for the replies chaps!  Anyone know anything about the Lassa tyres (they're just over £100 per corner)?
