Hmm?? might have to send you a PM after Crimbo Rich now that i know you can get Performance friction pads
They are the best ones for my Exige and track, though i have read that the dust can wreck the wheels when new if it is raining when they are throwing off lots of dust for the first few drives. I have read some cases of wheels needing a refurb.

Team Bora use blues in their track car, think it's done 5 TDs, about 50 Ring laps on 1 set so far. Doesn't fail to stop.  :happy2:

Generally the rule of thumb with Pagids, they cost more but they last much longer.

That equates to a lot of fast road miles! :-)

A friend is running them on his Octavia RS with Tarox G88 both track and daily.
Yesterday he told me if he would swap to others he would miss the squeeling in town.

Very happy with braking even on track though - no fading, great feel.

 :drinking:

ps: compared to Endless they are cheap

Oh ref corrosive dust:

I think that's a problem since resolved with the compounds?? Minuscule red hot flecks of metal would stick in your paint, and when it rained having left the dust on the car they went rusty.

Race compounds don't really bother racers, obviously enthusiasts would prefer something a little less messy.

I had the carbon ceramics on the m3, and i was very happy with them !
The ds2.5ks are pretty good too, i found them a bit messy though.

If you want the best pads then it has to be endless.  Thats all we use on the race lambos now.  They will last a full 24 hour race and somehow dont damage the discs  :surprised:

We would use a front set of Pagid RS29's per 2-3 hour race and then a set of discs every two races.

The endless are £600 per corner which will last a season and the pagids are £150 per corner.  The endless pads brake better too.
