How many do you have? See a couple of old chaps by me early in the morning with a crate of them taking them somewhere unknown.

i have 14 i dont race them they not racing pigeons its a sport where you fly a female or male on its own and other people put one out of the opposite sex they  mate   (hopefully and the best one takes the other one home you catch it now it belongs to you or you lose one    very complacated  but  its all down to sex    for the pigeons that is  :signLOL:

.
These Collared Doves are wild but visit my bird table several times a day and nest in one of the big trees:

The pair of Wood Pigeons recently lost their young to a Sparrowhawk - I witnessed the event.

....Cheers  :drinking:

I always keep it well stocked. It has a Nyger seed feeder now. It's high off the ground so cats can't reach it - I can only just reach it. The wire mesh is to keep bigger birds like Woodies and Seagulls out from scoffing the lot. The Collared Doves have become surprisingly used to my presence. I have a wildlife pond nearby and facilities for birds to bathe and drink. I particularly love birds - Dunno why.
