Am having 2 RNS 510 units fitted over the weekend and sourced the above 2 from different sources..am hoping it's just a design issue as otherwise need to get hold of one urgently

Top one looks like ever other can gateway I have seen with the way the two plastic halves join together.  Might just be the photo but the connector looks to have a different shape on the lower unit.

From the label they appear to be made by different manufacturers in different countries so it could just be a design revision.

Not very helpful I know but the only way to know might be to plug it in and see what VCDS throws up.  :surprised:

they are  both fine
difference is due to manufacturers 1x is made by Temic and the other by Continental

Has been confirmed in another thread on here today the manufacturer has changed and so has the appearance so the second one is actually a newer unit!

Second one is older by the date stamp??? so its quite confusing :rolleye: I know sometime the manufacturer updates old units, I.e I have seen an S gateway with an AD sticker over the top?
