Heston Blumenwotsits restaurant. 2 People, 2 Hours to get there, 4 1/2 Hours for 14 Courses, £450 Bill, 2Hrs to get home. Happy Birthday to me. Done.

It was an 'experience'! To be honest Id of prefered to go back to Fifteen and keep £200 in my pocket. We've been trying to get a table for over a year so had to go, just happened to be today!   :drinking:

Cheers Guys, Its was only a 'tasting' menu so even the missus whos size 6 managed 14 courses!  :signLOL:    No he was'nt there but I did get a birthday card from him   :P

only a taster?! cant imagine the cost of a proper dinner there then! i sometimes see him in my local boozer he pops in for a pint on a saturday nice bloke but sod paying 450 quid and waiting a year for a meal! hope you had a good birthday tho  :drinking:

Yes thats right, they only do a 'tasting' menu. £450 is only what the average dealer would charge for 4 1/2 hours labour to bugger your car up!! So its not so bad seeing as we both had a good night!! Its not like is a daily or weekly occurance. Im not a food snob at all and Im quite looking forward to my 'extra hot' nandos chicken tonight before I take the missus to see Harry Potter  :signLOL:
