EVOMS for me although if I were choosing again it would be a toss up between EVOMS, ITG and TwinTake :happy2:

After reading about the different intakes i chose to change from The Carbono to the Forge Twintake, based on the looks, i really don't fancy the ITG filter on a stick solution, and the choice endend up being ITG or twintake based on IMO efficiency and looks. A friend logged his ED30 with the Twintake and saw a 0,2 bar rise in boost pressure from 6000rpm and up. So i had to have a go at it

I had to vote 'other' as you missed off the BDM intake  :signLOL:

I'm suprised over the amount of ITG's as it's not a cheap solution, but it shows that many see it as the most effective intake
(I know Forge isn't cheap also  )

....I'm not so surprised. SteveP was very enthusiastic about it and did some convincing dyno runs with it. ITG also have a good reputation being intake specialists. Furthermore, there may have been a group buy deal IIRC.

As I wrote in my Twintake review, people choose their intake for a variety of reasons and bhp numbers do influence many. The choice tends to be based on the following considerations (not in order of importance):-

- Performance
- Standard of manufacture
- Ease of maintenance
- Sound
- Appearance aka 'Eye-Candy'
- Price

Review:  http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,9988.0.html

I would expect the ITG to deliver slightly more bhp than the Twintake if dyno'd back-to-back on the same car, but personally I really don't like the ITG's Heath Robinson appearance. ETTO!

Dbilas inlet and a pipercross universal filter instead of the airbox. I found this sounded and performed better than the twintake ( both looking at road logs and dyno testing)

Twintake would be my second option.

I also like the BSH, bit loud for my taste but price and performance wise, cant beat it.
