New boy on the block few questions

Hi bought  a red mk5 golf gti

been looking threw on the search button for a few hours on serveral forums and havnt been able to find any good advice

i am wanting to put an R32 bum on it, found good prices for the bumper but with regards to the exhaust thats mad

gatherd that a standerd r32 one is no go

milltek is good but £500 quid seams a f*ck load

seen this wonderd what the views are (eurojet tip thing)

whats the going rate for a custom exhaust to be made up?



lowering the car, i got standerd 18 inch monza's is there any trouble with lowering, scrubbing ect.

A lot of people have gone for the R32 rear (myself included) I havea GTI R32 exhaust from Milltek, cost about£500 as you stated,there areother companies out there, I know some places make there own exhausts, but prices are similar to the Milltek prices.

Not heard of the Eurojet ones before though.

As for lowering, it depends on a lot of factors, how wide your wheels are is always a big factor on rubbing issues, also the size of your wheels.
I have had my motor lowered about 30mm and with 19" alloys with no problems,and am not going lower with 18's without too many problems (yet)
How low do you want it?
