« on: November 20, 2010, 06:51:34 pm »
.
11:15pm tonight (Saturday) on Ch4:

"Into The Wild", based on a true story and directed by Sean Penn.

Should be good - I usually enjoy road movies.  :happy2:

....Definitely not everyone's cup of tea - It's long and quite slow moving and not an action movie. Very sensitively and beautifully directed and shot though and the music soundtrack is spot-on for the scenes. It's power is mostly because you know it's a movie based on truth. It's deep but not intellectual.

There's plenty in the movie that some may relate to, and so that too is powerful. Slow but edgy.

Great part played by Vince Vaughn ("Wedding Crashers" and other great comedies) and also William Hurt as his usual downhearted character.
