CostCo tyre deal - this weekend only
« on: November 20, 2010, 07:25:03 pm »
CostCo Bristol have a deal on for this weekend only.

- If you purchase 4 michelin tyres they are offering 20% off.

The beauty is the deal can be split between 2 people e.g. you and a mate buy 2 each and you both get the discount.

225/40/18 92Y XL Michelin pilot sport 3 are £282 a pair before discount !!

Anyone interested going halves on the deal as I need 2 PS3 asap.

This deal is at all costco's all over the country, apparently costco have some connection with michelin, so you can not buy them cheaper in the country, just looking for a set of 19's for my porsche.

Doesn't seem much of a bargain to me. Local place told me £250 for a pair and that's fitted.

Don't you need to be a member or something to buy from cost co?

I was quoted £230 fitted for 2 18" ps3's 6 months ago by my local fitter, didn't go for them in the end, wasn't a fan of ps2's so didn't want to risk these being no better and there were no reviews around back then

Any one taking up this deal be aware that costco fitters are animals....go through the usual checks before and after they do your work. Good price though, I got 2 for about £280 a couple of months back, I will need two for the fronts middle of next year but cant afford to splash the cash just before christmas sadly.

i queried their wheel care, at bristol they use plastic tools and are happy for you to oversee. They are confident they wont mark rims.

Regardless of their assurances. See the recent post on their butchery. Examine before, take pics get manager to agree the before state ahead of letting them loose on your rims.

When I got mine back all 4 tyres were at different pressures and had wrong valve caps on but thers have had real damage. Just advising precautions are taken to avoid disappointment and hassle.  :happy2:
