I much prefer it as a Sportback. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

audi missed a trick when they facelifted the A3 a couple of years ago of putting sportback style rear lights on the 3 door

"Courtesy of the Audi internal system:

All 'Audi UK Centres' will be allocated one Demo Car per centre and one showroom vehicle per group by Audi UK......... there are approx 120 centres in the UK. Also add press and marketing vehicles.

There are no updates or actual quoted dates on delivery of any cars Demo or otherwise as of today, only information currently available is that Delivery dates will not be available until March 21st at the earliest, and deliveries will not commence until "Summer" at the earliest...........This is followed by "Customers should be made fully aware of this, as there expectations should be managed to suit................pretty self explanatory.

As for there only being a limited production of 500 units for the UK, and this being in actual "written documentary form" unless one is referring to the actual Audi internal system, where this figure is noted, as my matey in Audi commented is absolute "B*ll*x"

Apparently deposits are being taken but no delivery dates given until March. Insiders are saying that July is the very earliest any will arrive in the UK.

....From March 21st is apparently the time you'll be told.

You could always sell me your RS3 shortly after delivery (at the appropriate second hand value) 

Btw, in that case would you please revise your order to either be a red one or, if grey, with the red wheels - THX

The RS3 grey looks much richer and metallic than the GTI's Steel Grey.

sportback looks like a a4 estate!! is there any word yet on the 3 door? audi usually get it bang on in looks imo, but not to do a 3door in this car is just stupid, its a hot hatch FFS!!
