Modded Ttrs will get to 175mph really quickly but then after that the last 10mph takes a while longer, 6th gear just isn't long enough.

I would love to get involved in one of these events. Think the green rs did a top speed of 179 mph

Yeah, just been reading it on VAGOC.. The Stage 1 TTRS cracked 173mph.. Not many hairdressers go that quick..

Gps verified? Gearing does allow for it on the 2.0tfsi.

That same m5 beat the Gtr.

Pah 173mph my vRS did that granted it took a fair while and a nice down hill stretch of the autobahn though

it powerful enough to get there, thats for sure, ity just takes an age and a little bit of gravity to break past that last 8-10mph.

that TT was in the e4 program phoneshop and was being driven by the bloke off phonejacker,made me chuckle when i saw that
