Beddie's Edition 35 - Back on track! :)
« on: November 23, 2010, 12:03:44 am »
Well after 2 years and 37K of ownership i thought it time i finally got round to a few pics  :happy2:

Bought her back in December 2008 as an ex-demo car with 4K on the clock, had been after an ED30 for a few months and when one with the exact spec i wanted came up i took a chance and put a phone deposit on it then got Mrs Beddie to drive me the 90 miles to the dealers the next day as i was very hung over thanks the the work xmas doo...

Here it is the day we bought it and proof that some of the best decisions in life are made whilst slightly drunk, did the same with Mrs Beddie as it happens...

First run out with the uk-mkivs lot on a baltic day in January 2009...

Then came a bloody good cleaning session although the car was still bone stock at this time..

Then came the inevitable mods  :signLOL:

Stage 1 Bluefin with Carbonio intake and ITG filter coupled with a Milltek non-res cat back

Followed in no particular order by...

Whiteline anti - lift kit
VWR AP -20mm springs
H&R 26 / 22 F&R Arbs
H&R 10mm F&R hubcentric spacers
ECS transmission mount insert
Leon Cupra 345mm front caliper setup / HEL hoses / RBF600 / Mintex M1144
Michelin PS3s
Retro fit RNS-510
Black front grille badge

And how its looking as of this weekend in 'Winter Spec' (Hankook Ice Bear W300 tyres and genuine 18" Monza BBS)  :happy2:

Looks very nicely kept mate! :happy2:

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Never been a great fan of red cars, but yours looks the business. I really like the fact that all the mods are tasteful, subtle and discrete OEM+ FULL MARKS. Good Job!

Phoaw!

Is that a Kangoo van in the background, how fast does it go Mista?

Winter spec Danza approved, dare I say, I think I actually prefer the Monzas.
Sideways yo!
