In the dry ? in the wet ?
Have a read and take your pick :happy2:
EVO Tyre Test
andrewparker:
Yeah, I've read the Evo tyre test, still have the issue on my desk. It was that which swayed me towards the Vredesteins.
It's mainly wet weather grip that I want to improve. The Dunlops have always been fine in the dry but not so good in the wet, especially with their current limited tread!

X2 with johno, about the hankooks, i know they have a bit of budget brand about them, but they are the sponsor for the race series, and having had that demo car for 4 days, i can voucher for how much grip/handling they give on the 300R
i made a note of what was fitted, hankook ventus S1 EVO, 225-35-19.
very good tyre

Suggest the Michelin Pilot Sports 2. One of the quietest tyres on the road - some of the other brands can generate extra road noise. The rubber compound in these also provides one of the best balance in wet and dry conditions.
The rubbers also more resistant to getting chewed up at high speeds or during aggressive driving. I'm not too sure if you can get extra load bearing ones for the 18" or 17" Monzas - but if u can then you have a fantastic set of rubbers. The extra load bearing puppies basically inhibit any lateral shift/movement on the tyres during cornering, etc.
