I had a text from my mum saying she had 2 inches last night.

So I called her and pointed out that it was too much information. :surprised:

No snow here in West Dorset. I really hope it stays that way - I detest snow!

Could have been worse if she phoned and said she had 12 inches

To be fair I wouldn't expect a call in those situations

Didn't make it to work today due to the amount of snow that fell through the night (a good 5-6" )..  :surprised:

All the snow must of fell between 01:30 (when I got up to go to the loo) & 04:00 when I got up for work.

And with my leaving the house @ 05:00 to get to work I was the first to move in the street and one of the first to go through the village.

Just managed to spin/crawl my way out of the village but then its a lost steap bank to get up, just far to dangerous to be driving on..... Had to turn back and ditch the car on the main front street  :sad1:

The front splitter on the Eddi was like a snow plogh..

Thats what i don't like about the modern golfs the front is far too low for winter conditions. Its why i have a cheap banger car for the bad winter fitted with winter tyres.
