Last night there was a smidgeon of snow on the pavements. This morning, there was a fair whack. It seemed to have settled so we decided to set out (empty fridge and no sweets). Drove out fine, parked up at the supermarket.
Came back out. First thing that peeved me off is that despite an entire rear car park that was empty, some frikkin learner driver decided to park right next to me! Second thing was the snow. If that learner corsa wasn't next to me, it'd have been worth taking a pic. Half-inch layer of snow on the roof, despite the fact that we'd only been in for forty minutes. Had to clear the windows and lights all round and by the time I'd gotten back in, it was starting to snow up the windows again!
Driving home wasn't too bad despite the PS2 tyres but trying to reverse park into the garage was a nightmare. There's no "higher gear, low revs" for reverse! Managed to get it in and it's staying in the garage. I'll walk where I'll need to go. I'd cleared the drive of a few inches of snow but it was all back by the time I'd returned home.
I'm gonna put a couple of supported carrier bags outside and let the snow collect so I can builds me a snow man!
