Few shots of Cuba to whet your appetite. I'd recommend the Paradisus Rio de Oro resort in Holguin - http://www.solmeliacuba.com/cuba-hotels/hotel-paradisus-riodeoro/

We spent two weeks there, then a further 3 days in Havana.

2nd Florida! Been there 3 years in a row as I have family there and, it's the best! Seriously thinking of moving there!!

Very similar to you (no family just yet) would love to go and live in Naples or near Fort Lauderdale, such a lovely chilled out place.

Egypt is going to be 30c so may be a little too warm for you.

Plus you'll spend half your holiday with your ass welded to a toilet bowl. During the other half you'll bravely attempt to venture outside thinking the worst is over and then soil yourself in public!

Some good suggestions. Florida is back on the cards and you guys are slightly putting me off Egypt now. Did think about morocco but unsure about that place aswell.

Back on the Internet tonight to look at places in florida, cancun and Cuba. Would I be able to rent a v8 corvette or mustang in yank land at 22?

Florida is good. I love Key West. Everything is walkable from your hotel, loads of restaurants and bars etc. Southernmost On The Beach is my favourite hotel and room 616 is excellent with it being on the top floor and having a west facing balcony (you get to see the sunset every evening although there are some pesky palm trees in the way).

Moving and living in Florida is virtually impossible for us Brits unless you have around £500k cash to invest, a job that falls into a certain category with a sponsor in the USA willing to employ you (rare) or you buy a business in the USA. Its something I have looked at for years and realisticly its not possible without the £500k investment  :sad1:

....Morocco can be a bit of a hassle on the streets if local youngsters home in on you! Not threatening but non-stop hassling you to buy stuff or just give them money. The trick is to hire a slightly older youngster who can keep all the others away but you have to pay him of course.

Some of the markets are like going back to biblical times or on the set of "The Life Of Brian" complete with lepers etc.

Yeah the Grand Canyon is breathtaking, Yosemite National Park is pretty special too! San Francisco is a great city to wander around too! Vegas is awesome but only for a few days it just gets too in your face for any longer!

Haha you must have been to a different San Francisco to me dude! When I went a couple of years ago it was full of gays and beggers.....! Not exactly my cup of tea....!

Saying that, the golden gate bridge was pretty cool, and the views were good! Oh, and Alcatraz was amazing!

....Heat in Egypt will be a comfortable dry heat. Makes great sense to do the others together as they're all in the same area. Enjoy!  :happy2:
