Gti Mats
« on: November 23, 2010, 08:59:24 am »
Does anyone have any pics of the genuine car mats for the mk5 Gti?  I've had a quick look on the internet but want to make sure I'm buying the proper ones.  Does anyone know the part number for the dealers and approx cost for a complete set?

Cheers in advance

I was quoted £45 from my VW garage, but they did say that this was with a discount that they said I needed to pretend that I had bought the car from them.

Just phoned the stealer and they want £70 for a set!!  I've had a look on Halfrauds and found these;

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_235607_langId_-1_categoryId_165494 for £29.99

Has anyone got any pics of the originals so I could compare the differences?

Cheers

Ive got em but to dark for a pic now.If you still want a pic tommorow I'll try and get one. TBH wait till summer as carpet mats will only get ruined! Or get some rubber ones to go over the top.

Current Price for the rubber set(front/rears) with Golf on them, of which I have a set in my ED30 are £56.00 retail. Very good fit and so far durable. Bought them to save my velour ED30 set. Be aware there are two clip fittings dependant on your car. Either round or oval. :happy2:
