Any suggestions? I dont want any issues with wheel arches scuffing, but a bit more of a wide stance, at the rear especially, would be welcome. Also needs to clear the front brakes without any issues.

Hoping to have them for the 1/4 mile on 8th March so quick advice needed if poss!

Ta,

Horace

Standard, 18x8 ET45 and you will have no issues with a 225/40/18 tyre..

According to Rimstock, an ET of 40 should be ok as well, but I am not sure. Opinions?

Getting them for £464 for 4 wheels, £454 for 2 lots of 4 wheels. Thats inc VAT and delivered in Gloss Black.

Going to get a price for more if anyone is interested.

Could do a group buy if there is enough interest.

Dan - Will check the measurement on mine for clearance. Let me know if you are keen bud by phone/IM or whatever. Lead time is 2-2.5 weeks so I will be looking to order mine ASAP. What ET would you want?

Al

Yeah, super safe with 50 and you will be fine with 45, any less than that and you will start having trouble when lowering the car..

Think I will go with 45's to be honest. Was looking at tyre prices and noticed that 235's are a lot more expensive than 225's.

when you put 225 tyres on a 8" wide rim, does it make the tyre wider than on a 7.5", and the sidewall lower??

Hey Dan - I spoke to a guy with Monza R's and he said ET45 is the best for the front, but he put ET35's on the back. I am going to go with ET45 all round I think mate. Unfortunately they have not got back to me yet :(
