RCD510 issues - Radio fuse location and number - Jetta TDi 2006
« on: November 28, 2010, 12:37:52 pm »
My battery is flat. I've bought a booster pack from Halfrauds and am just waiting for it to charge before I try and give the kiss of life. I want to pull the radio fuse before i do anything else but do know where it is.

Location wise is it on top of the battery or on the drivers side fuse box, also which one is it.

So it would seem that if i want to keep my RCD510 I AM going to have so replace the Gateway which is slightly annoying.

Think you can get a modified formware that will stop the issue..

Dont know where you would get it from though, sorry.

Found and pulled the fuse - F19 in the engine bay fuse box for reference.

I know there was a chance i would need to upgrade the Gateway to the extent that I bought a new one but after some investigation found that the revision I currently have in the car should be ok. Obviously not.
