screen wash that doesnt freeze??

hello all,

does anyone no a brand of screen wash i can buy that doesnt freeze up?? i no some go down to -30 but i cant find some anywhere?

VW OEM fluid.  Its the best you can get IMO.  Good down to -70 depending on the concentration.

Also need to make sure you get some thats meant for the fan spray washer jets as they seem to distinguish between the jet types.
OEM stuff is good stuff tho and smells good

I have used the Halfords Advanced screen wash for the last two years and it has never frozen, despite the well below freezing conditions.

I think there are some offers for multiple purchases too at the moment.

Another vote for the VW stuff, not too expensive either.


I remeber a drive out with the VXR lot and everyone of them had frozen over  :innocent:

i will only use vw own as i find it doesn't freeze and also the bestfor not smearing

I use the Rain X screen wash and although it never freezes the pipes and spray jets will which kind of negates the use of a non freezing screen wash.
