Usually I'd say I don't like painted oem engine covers but I like yours because it goes so well with your red bodywork and red filter. That silver one recently posted looks very good too  :happy2:

Yes, yours Big Al. Sorry I forgot whose it was - Lots of folks to remember here and more difficult if I haven't met them (plus my aged memory). I like yours best of all re painted oem covers.

that does look smart AL!! and OP-that looks dead cool and sooo shiny!
i just "aquired" a neuspeed p-flow-decided against the cost of the twintake esp as this is second hand-
and i got a second hand cover to chop.
am thinking the crackle paint over the engine cove to match the piping on the neuspped and then get the centre section done WTP carbon to match the rest of my car...with a hint of influence form mrRED as usual lol
what ya reckon?
sorry op if this is a thread hijack :innocent:
but inspried by your pics

Sounds like a plan Matt.
I do like the carbon centre but as I am  always planning something else then I thought I would go with the cheaper option and just paint it.
Always like the water transfer jobs too.

....Nothing wrong in breathing new life into threads  :happy2:

Do you mean the aftermarket air intake pipework?

If so, it's a Forge Twintake:    http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,9988.0.html
