Filling CD Changer space?
« on: December 02, 2010, 08:41:44 pm »
Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if there is anything available that fills the hole where a CD changer was fitted in an armrest?

Ive removed mine now and got a hole that I would like to blank out/do something with.

Any ideas/part numbers?

Thank you :drinking:

Or you can just goto VW and buy the proper cubby armrest that would come with a standard none cd changer armrest.

I can get the part number for you once i'm at home.

Cheers

Here you go this is the part to fill the CD changer space,

It's called a glove box part number...A321-857-233 they are about £9 from VW.

Non CD changer arm rest.

There is also a rubber matt for the inside, it's a right barstewards to swap the arm rests over so go for the glove box swap. :happy2: Plus you may need to swap over the air duct inside to for the rear arm rest vents.. :chicken:

This...

That's brilliant thank you. I can live with £9 and less effort to change!

No worries, don't know the part number for the matt inside but they are cheap from VW. It's sort of L shaped and drops in the bottom.  :happy2:
