Bust Sledge.

Pi**ed of at the moment. Took the little ones sledging today. :smiley:
Second day that we have used a brand new sledge (£30 + Del). It cracked!!!  :sad:
I phoned the shop where I bought it from to complain. Their reply was shirt to say the least "Its a toy, what do you expect!" and didn't want anything to do with it.  :angry:  :fighting:
They said that they will take it up with the manufacturer. BUT under the sale of goods act the product has to be fit for purpose and must last a reasonable amount of time. The buyers contract is with the shop in the first instance.

I would take it back in person but I bought it off the shops internet web site and the shop is 300 miles away!!!
So the kids are fed up, and  SWMBO is going APE.

Any ideas.........
Next time I'll buy a cheap sledge from the garden centre!   :sick:

Couple of kids near me are using an old mini bonnet  :laugh:,they have just bent it up on the front edge & put some string on it.  :grin:

Contact your Credit Card company and they will with hold the payment until its resolved.

As posted by DOMT, distance selling regs you have, I think, 28 days to return it.
