Smooth/US Fronts and plate fitting??
« on: December 04, 2010, 04:27:54 pm »
Hey guys where do you run your plates with a US smooth front end? I've tried suction cups glued to the plate but these fell off! I'm loathed to tie wrap it to the lower grill as i hate the look and it will restrict air flow to the intercooler and i want to be able to remove it without leaving anything behind. At the mo i've just got it in jammed between the window and dash and apart from a dirty look from a copper i have'nt been tugged yet! How easy is it to remove the grill and smooth front as i am thinking of just getting a standard one and putting the smooth one on for shows.

If you have to ask why, you'll never understand.

Car came with it but you can get them from Merseyspeed for a reasonable price.

I'd have thought that option would work fine if you dont mind the velcro strip on the panel. Its what i use for my bike plate on the tail and its held on just fine come rain or shine and is far more likely to get pulled off by wind on my bike than car
