Goodyear gsd3 vs aysmmetric
« on: December 08, 2010, 07:00:06 pm »
Did a search and everyone raves about the asymmetrics but are they really better than the gsd3?

Gsd3 £92
Asym £109 a corner

What would you get?

Tempted by the gsd3 as have had them previously on a Clio (lighter I know).

Cheers guys

IIRC they havent made new stock of the GSD3 tyres in ages as the assymetrics replaced them, so its likely the GSD3s are old stock

.
Having had 2 sets of the GY directionals and on my 2nd set of asymmetrics and experienced them in both wet and dry, I would definitely advise the asymmetrics. Both good but the asymms feel just a bit more sure-footed and surprisingly good in atrociously wet conditions.
