Badge snobs??? I'm currently in-between cars, so running around in my French sh*tbox track car. I have no loyalty to any brand.

The kicker is though, no matter what it looks like, it's an M-car - so it will be proper. The 135i is a beautifully handling car and for those old enough to have driven E30s back in the day, it's as close as they've come since. More power, real LSD, adding lightness and M-tweaks.... there's no way this car can be a bad 'un.

Im with Poverty on this one.  That bumper is about as MAX POWER as they get.  Definitely more chav looking than the FRS.

I would however still have one of these for the exact same reason as mr Danza has eluded to, awesome engine and chassis and build quality, with residuals to match.

Looks mean as hell and no doubt it will go, and drive just as well! If I hadn't had got such a good deal on mine I think this is where I would have been heading. Awesome

I'm not a BMW fan at all, but that does looks a hench little motor and the Evo initial review (last month) suggests it will have the power & character to compliment its appearance well.

I love 1 series BM's but only the hatches.  The coupes look daft IMO.  The little boot sticking out just looks completely out of place to me.

RS3 for me too.....already on my shortlist.....of one  Roll on April  then onwards to stage 2 :driver:

BMW coupe drive's well and I'd expect the 1M to be a belter, just not for me

Now if we had a professor Frankenstein who could meld the 1M and the RS3 together! :jumping:
