Are any recaro seats heated?

Are any of the factory fit recaros with heated seats im asking because ive just bought an r32 and it has cloth recaros not heated and i want to know if there is a part number for the heating elements for the seats so that they can be fitted when i get them retrimmed in leather

Can anybody let me know if this is possible or if ill have to get some kind of aftermarket kit fitted

I might be wrong but on the whole, it's rare for recaros to be heated.
 

But you can get heated recaros in the new ttrs. So you'll be able to get a part for that ;)

Mine, originally R32 cloth and now Interlagos cloth, aren't heated (I'm very glad to say!).

The leather ones will be heated! It's very much like normal seats, cloth seats won't be unless it had the winter pack.

....IIRC he has retrofitted them and also had the alcantara cushions done

Leather Recaro's are heated, cloth aren't as far as im aware, iv been in 3 full leather r32s with recaro's all heated, mine used to be full leather but had the centres trimmed so all the heating elements etc are still there, and the full leather set I had previous to these were heated.

Doubt you will be able to buy a part to heat the cloth ones as as far as i know the elements are all retrofitted into the seats, so yours will have no heating elements built into them.

So as far as im aware cloth arent and leather are

Yes you can mate, it's just a cloth with copper wire in it that has adhesive on theback and it sticks onto the foam ;)

My leather recaro's must be the rarest...... passenger seat is heated, drivers one currently is not.... my cold arse is not impressed!!!

rub it in why don't you. Need to get them fixed, but do not  know who or where would sort it, (Think it's the wiring in the chassis, as my last set wouldn't heat up either)
