Window Tints Yae Or Nae?

I had my car tinted... and didn't get the rear white lines.  If the "tinter" is skilled they can pretty much do a near perfect job.

You start off with very small white lines, i.e. the trapped fluid - but leaving the car in the sun soon sorts that out in a couple of days.

I had my car done 35% all round.  It's tinted subtly and not "in your face".  After all we don't want to be attracting the attention of the "babylon" or come across as drug dealers?

do the 32's have a blue-ish hue to the windows as standard?

I like the rear tints and would get a big thumbs up from me. Mine are OEM factory fit and wouldn't do without them

Thanks for all the replys guys but im still undecided,i had tints on my mk4 from pentagon but i just dont want the back windscreen showing white lines

Hi Greenouse  , 

I'll try and take some pics early next week after I've given my motor a quick rinse and dry. Oh, got a complete set of R32 rear lights to fit as well....

Factory on the Ed30, but I had the A4's done last year.

Until it was mentioned I had never noticed the white line, which you can see the A4 has.

Love 'em just the same & would have them on any car, keeps the little kiddies cool and comfy as well

I will be getting mine done end of this coming week. Ive given in,someone id done some private work for,is doing it as a favour in return and charging me less then £100 for the whole car., Uber cheap, so gonna try it and see how it looks.

What tint % are you looking at?

Oem tint mate, not the pimped look but most proberly the same as my previous car with uv tint or security glass stuff on the front.

i have mine done and just love the way the look on a white car




they look dark on pics but they are not bad at all
