£22k for a Polo GTI should make people realise that £30k for a Golf R or £40k for an Audi RS3 isn't so bad. It's what cars cost nowadays.

My fully loaded Mk5 Golf GTI cost £25k five years ago.

still trying to justify the RS3?  :P

I did not realise you paid that much back then. :surprised: I got a basic one for 18K around the same time and the mk6 with a few options for less than 22K last year. I was disappointed  in the standard equipment spec myself of the polo GTI when i looked it up. When i looked at polos earlier this year at the dealers the panel fit was abysmal, The paint finish and lack of body colour at the wing to a-pillar was shocking too so it put me right off the polo.

....DSG, Xenons, sunroof, 5-door, were what loaded the basic price - All options, or their equivalent, which I'd want on any car I bought.

Then I went on to spend zillions on aftermarket modifications! I won't get a penny back but do I care? Too much joy from the car to care about what's been spent.

Looking extremely good and very individual. It is begging to be lowered though, especially when those new alloys are on.

Bloody nice motor but can't help wondering when vw are gonna design some new alloys for the gti?
Can fully understand why you've bought another set.
The other polos have alloy options but not the range topper?
How long has that wheel design been around now!!??

....The Monza design is individual to the GTI and a very strong and elegant design. It has also become an iconic distinguishing feature.

I have nothing against the Pescara but it's extremely similar to many of the other BBS designs that have been kicking around for years  :P

The Ed30 should be on black Monza's like originally in Germany. VW missed a trick there.

I hear what you're saying but why not give customers an alternative option?

....Which might not be until March. February can have some nasty surprises like last year did.

I really like that a lot!
Would Monza 2's - the 18" wheels fit the car? Genuine not replica?

Does it have paddles with the DSG as well or not?
Bet thats a lot of fun to drive with that power!
