Mark all messages as read

Sounds a bit silly but when browsing on the iPhone and scrolling down or zooming in, I sometimes accidentally hit the 'Mark All Messages As Read'. A bit frustrating when you have six pages of unread threads!

Is there a way to disable it per member?
Or perhaps have a confirmation eg 'Are you sure?' which would allow the opportunity to reverse the decision if accidental?

  I'm right handed and use my thumb to scroll. Generally works fine on other forums that I use except this one where there are Thank You and 'Mark All Threads As Read' buttons.
