Laser Blue GTI, now caged ready for some track action
« on: December 14, 2010, 10:31:40 pm »
hi im new here, been lurking for a little while and it seems to be a nice forum!

Anyway after a couple of years of wanting one iv finally bit the bullet and bought a mk5 gti.
A few things have changed so i don't have massive amounts of time to complete the my mk2 20vt project to a standard im happy with so im going to have a true cool daily and play as i go.

These are what i currently looks like, private plate comming off as its not mine.

Currently has

turbo back miltek system
autotec uprated fuel pump
neuspeed inducton kit
forge recirculation valve
Revo stage 2

276bhp with 302 torques and it flipping flies allthough anything feels fast after driving a van daily for the past 18 months.

plans are to sort the stance which will probably entail airide and a set of 19's but hope to have it as an ever evolving daily toy!

Very nice.  I originally looked for laser blue but could find one within my budget.  I love the colour.

That looks very tidy mate! Nice to see another laser blue on here. I bet it sounds as quick too with the milltek and neuspeed fitted! Have you got res or non res system? I've been you tubing sound clips but laptop speakers don't help me!  :happy2:

Hi and welcome. Love the mods.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Cheers guys im so happy with it just got the itch to start playing more and only owned it for 5 days!

The miltek is a resonated system so its nice and quiet at all times.

the neuspeed induction kit is nicely made and fits a treat and seems to do the job but couldn't say if it worked better than any of the others as iv not got anything to compare it too.

Im luckey to find the laser blue as it was my first choice, it was the only one out there in my budget and as a bonus it allready had the mods that i would have done allready.

Have a new set of wheels sitting ready and waiting to go on and hopfully going to be looking into an airlift air ride setup, i know its not everyone cup of tea but it will allow me to do what i want with the car :happy2:

Really i didn't know that its a strange one.

Not overly keen on all the black trim on the bumpers and skirts so im going to sort that out early spring hopefully!
