course it is, dont think anybody has done it, but youd essentially have a s3/golf R in mk5 shape. which is a big fat WIN imo!  :smiley:

oh and your looking at 8-10k for a turbo conversion. i got my ed30 engine put in with stage 2+ revo for 1300,  :smiley:

my mate you met at halifax rr day Mat who owns the place will build you a turbo setup and map and set the car up and fab all the pipe work easy enough for less than 10k  :rolleye:

well im just looking for 280bhp at the moment, got coilovers and spacers on and pipercross vis intake, new discs and pads in january along with wheels refurb and then an exhaust.  :party:

id love to see somebody actually do it. i should of kept my old engine and put it in my 32, mk4 r32 with ed30 motor in it,  :drool: :drool:

That would've flew!! I'm planning on going the distance with my Eddy but, still undecided on whether I'll go Hybrid or a GT28!? Got time to decide as I have no plans of getting rid of it  :happy2:

buy an R, and swap the engines, then sell your ed30 as 'special edition, edition 30 with r32 lump'  :signLOL:

Hybrid is by far the better option with an ED30. I actually bought a full GT2871R set-up and never fitted it to mine as nitrous made for much more fun. Statllers have 2 hybrid ED30's - one manual and one DSG - they are both mental and both make over 400bhp with less lag than a GT28 for less money. :happy2:
