Something missing from boot?

Just been to check my boot for locking wheel nut (had car a week today :D) and it's there which was good, to the right of the boot though there looks like something was meant to ''slot in'' what should it of been?

Where abouts? I think there's a space for a first aid kit (which not Many have!). Don't know whether we are talking about the same place!

There is a little storage pocket?  I keep a bottle of oil in there.

Open the boot, then to the right behing the light sort of? Also anyone know where I can get one of these from?



This picture also shows a blue thing to the bottom right where i'm talking about. I thought first aid kit so googled for one and found nothing

Its just a pocket, it should have a slide out front

The under-shelf storage is known as a 'transboard'.  VW part number was 1K0061178A. 

This is the only one I can find on eBay...
