I need this body kit BUT
« on: December 16, 2010, 04:13:00 pm »
Hi all I wouldn't mind getting this kit from the German company on eBay but do you recon the front washer inserts are actually for show or working inserts. Think Ill have to send them an email but not right into speaking German.

That looks very nice.  What's the crack with the exhaust tailpipes?  Are they behind the mesh wotsits under the rear number plate?

Hmmm...

On the white golf they look like proper working washers but in the picture of the unpainted bumper they look fake.

Just look like they've been 'grooved' out.

I like it though mate, good choice. If you go for it can I have first dibs on your GTI rear valance and side skirts??  :drinking:

Looks to me as though the whole bumpers are ONE piece... i suppose you might be able to chop them out and use OEM washer caps but then you bound to run into fitment issues!

Nice front bumper tho!  :happy2:

....If those are slots exits under the number plate it might get black very quickly and easily.

That is a smart piece of kit. :happy2:
If you still need a translation send me your mail and I'll see if I can get it sorted. I can't promise but my son's girlfriend is German.

Do golfs have built in headlight washers? Or they need plumbing in?

Looks smart as though mate!

....They do have built-in washers if they have Xenon headlight units.
