4th Year Service & Extras

My 4th service is coming up & i am trying to think of any extras i should be considering at teh same time.

So far i have:

* 4th Year Service
* DSG Service
* Cam-belt, Tensioners & Water-pump change
* Cam follower change

Anything else?

just had my 4th year service done a few weeks back and got them to change the fuel filter as its not included in the service (thats what vw told me) worth getting done though! as you say get the t-belt/kit along with the water pump for piece of mind !!! :happy2:

Cam follower?? Is that part of the 4 year service.... sounds expensive!

Cam follower doesnt appear on the service schedule as far as im aware, but its recomended to do especially if you are using an uprated HPFP.  And its really rather inexpensive, £8-10 part and you can do it yourself as its just under the airbox and remove the fuel pump.  Someone did a very good write up on doing it, I am wanting to say VRS Carl but I could be wrong.

What do VW charge for cambelt and water pump of these things?
