Out in the Snow
« on: December 18, 2010, 10:23:45 pm »
Some pics from today whilst out with the dogs. It only snowed for an hour but this is what we had

The House

The Blue Bullet (Got the Outlaws here so it's not in the Garage keeping dry :sad1:)

Some Snow

One of the Mutts with his optional Snow Bling on his chest

The other Mutt with her Snow Boots (having fur like cotton wool is a nightmare as it just sticks and gets bigger)

The wife making snow Angels with Arley being curious

Then he thought it was his cue to play

Great shots Carl. We also had a lot of snow here in Cheshire over Friday night/Saturday morning (about 6-8"). Our cocker spaniel Jake had a whale of a time today playing in the powder. We even had a snowball fight (me and the wife) and Jake kept jumping up and eating the snowballs

Hate driving in this weather though, 18" alloys and 225 rubber and snow do not go well. Deffo have to start to consider some snow tyres.

Arley, the King Charles Spaniel, loved it. He was eating it, jumping up trying to catch flakes and then barking at it

This one wasn't going anywhere

But the A3 with snow tyres was more than happy with the challenge

However this might have been more suitable for the conditions

That's unbelievable Steve...

I'm a mere 22 miles (?) East and we had less than a smattering, in fact I wouldn't even have said it 'snowed', it was just heavy sleet compared.
Like two literally different climates  :surprised:

Just a phone pic but an Icicle which had Dropped from the car and was just stood in the snow. And looking at it probably survived a few trips onto the drive
