Thanks for the reply , much appreciated .

I'm left wondering whether I should have bought an Edition 30 now , or whether a mildy tuned & tweeked Gti will drive
similar to the standard spec 30.

What are everyones thoughts.

I have started collecting the following components but have had nothing fitted as yet.

Oem revised DV valve
HTTP internals from PDT plus revised cam follower
Miltek downpipe and sports cat from PDT group buywith torque insert

To get :

Ap 20 mm lowering springs
Forge Twin take
Forge Twintercooler or other upgraded intercooler
WALK
Arbs's front and rear
10mm spacers front and back
R32 brakes front and back or other

Thats about it really , but would be interested to hear if I should add any more mods to the list or save them for an edition 30.

Thanks Mark

A Couple more pics of the CC Light & Window / Wing Mirror Switches Now Fitted :happy2:

When In The Auto Position I'm Pretty Sure That It Now Lights Up With Different Colours To The Old One? Looks Better IMHO

The Brushed Ali Tips On The Window Switches Look Much Better & The Wing Mirror Knob Matches The RNS Perfectly

Very neat touches G60  :happy2:

I think the chrome headlight switches look and feel so much more robust than the darker plastic ones.
Haven't got the mirror one yet though, you just reminded me of that!

Nice touches!  :happy2:

How easy are the switches to do as I've had some sat in the garage for a few months now!

Cheers guys :happy2:

They're simple to fit, the hardest part is popping the doorcards off as they can be a real pain in the  :booty: sometimes.
Then it's a case of unplugging the connectors and pushing the switches out.

The headlight switch is simple, set the knob in the off position, push the switch in and turn to the right until it stops, as this closes the locking pins at the rear of the switch. Then pull the switch unit out, disconnect the plug and reverse the steps for the new one.

Love the motor, mate. Interior is a bit hit'n'miss IMO but ETTO.

That's the beauty of modding bud, my personal touches may not be to everyones taste.

I think it looks Unique for the Eddy as I haven't seen it done before.
Looks better in the flesh too

you don't need the doorcards off to do it
just pop off  the plastic they sit in.

Over the top mod list ;o)

Not with mine, once the plastic grab handle covers were removed there wasn't enough room to get to the switches to push them out :surprised:

Completely agree - I think everything seems to work except the ashtray bit - looks a bit too OTT in terms of bling for my liking but ETTO.
