They are monzas my good man, come in 17,18 or as the bottom pic you have put up 19 (though believe they are not genuine VW ones) you can get them n a number of different copies, if you want the ones with black inserts they are off the mk6 gti. Or grey inserts as found on the 18" monza 2's.
And yes, they are gorgeous, just be careful of curbs as there is no lip on them!

I'm not sure if it's my eyes.......but some of these rims seem ever more different.

The ones above seem to have clean/cut almost razor lines edges......the ones below seem to have a more smoother/softer pattern/edges?

and what finish are the top ones 'silver' or kust a 'polished' rim?

That pic is redrobin's car. If you look at his thread, you'll see that there have been whiteworm issues with the Monza alloys due to the design. RedRobin decided to get the refinished so they retained a specific look.

It's where water gets under the laquer and starts to form random white corrosion lines (much like a worm in a hole). Ones it starts, it's a bugger to stop it unless you have them fully refurbished and relaquered.

As i said, have a look at RedRobin's threads - he had some great pics of what whiteworm looks like.
