Help needed with correct tyre size
« on: December 22, 2010, 06:48:35 am »
Currently I have 19" alloys with ET45 and 8.5J, my car is lowered on collies and when I had 235/35/19 tyres on the back they rubbed. Now I am running 225/35/19 with no issues.

I am looking into buying some 18" alloys and I have a choice of different offsets and widths as follows:

ET50, 8.5J or ET45, 8J

Does anyone know if 235/40/18 would rub on wheels with these dimensions?
Or is it best to stick to 225/40/18?
